Frugal Fashionista

Well soon I'm gonna be starting a fashion blog with someone from my 269 family and I'm excited. That is really one of the reasons, I'm doing this post because I've been thinking about  what I would talk about.  A long with thinking to talk about plus size fashion I also wanted to talk about being fashionable and saving money.

So the first thing I would recommend to everyone is an app called shop kick! If you have a droid or an iPhone this is the app for you. You can earn points toward giftcards to some of your favorite stores. You really don't have to spend money you just have to walk in participating stores and get your points! If you work near or at a mall this app is surely for you. I'm planning on saving my kicks until around Christmas time and  spending then. I'm leaving a link on the page so you can get 50 points for signing up. Just click the link , sign up ,get the app ,log-in and you are good to go! I will honestly tell you that every three people that I get to sign up I get 2000 kicks but once you get started you can do the same.

Well I made a recent shopping trip on Saturday and looked around a few of my favorite stores Forever 21 being number one.

Here are a few things I put together. I'm stilling learning myself but nothing will ever be perfect just love what you wear and that's really all that matters.

I'm pretty sure forever 21 is having a sale or a coupon coming out on the 21st of this month so I'm defiantly gonna snag these things.

October's Goals

Man I haven't been on here in a while but I'm back with some new goals!

My first goals is to stay trekking on the journey of a 4.0 this semester. I think I can do it, its gonna be a little harder because bio is no joke but I'm going to tutoring so things should be ok.

Today I'm going to tutor kids at my church. I really love kids and education is important! A new goal of mine is to stick with this and hopefully be able to tutor every Monday or at least one or two days a week.

I really want to be more consistent with my blog post at least three a month and progress from there. I also want my content to be more diverse. I really want to land a job in the sports or fashion field one day!

I'm still working on my health and hopefully helping friends along the way. Better health will ward off disease and help extend life. So I'm excited but its surely not easy.

Lastly a goal of mine that  I've been working on for a while is to save money. I was talking to my parents the other day and my dad made me realize that when I'm done undergrad, I'll still be living similar to the way I'm living now as far as finances go. I'm taking it upon myself to watch my spending habits, create a working budget, and couponing better. I have a cool app that my friend told me about that could help a lot of people.
